Thomas Walkington is a forward thinker, innovative strategist, excellent facilitator and educator. He works with governing boards, senior leaders, managers, staff and stakeholders to improve organizational effectiveness by managing for results and becoming a high performing organization. Tom has more than 30 years experience working in public and nonprofit organizations developing and implementing strategic plans, creating and implementing strategic frameworks to execute strategy, measure progress and performance and translate data into information to support decision-making, planning and budgeting across all levels of the organization.

Dr. Walkington was recently appointed to the Board for the Center of Accountability and Performance (CAP) an organization within the American Society of Public Administration (ASPA). Dr. Walkington also chairs ASPA's Strategic Task force on Implementation and Monitoring of ASPA' Strategic Imperatives.
